A former military person once told me an adage he learned from a commanding officer: proper preparation prevents poor performance. As illustrated by this pipeline protest picture, there was clearly an unresolved issue in the project approval process that led to this demonstration. Unfortunately, by this point, money has changed hands and pressures are mounting on all sides. This is an ugly place to be.
